Regional Event: Trek Transylvania & Lynx Big Cat Project Visit

Venue: Brasov, Central Romania

Join fellow Cats Protection supporters for the challenge of a lifetime. 

Traverse the Transylvanian Alps, taking in huge mountains, rugged wilderness and small villages on this 60km trek through Romania.

During the trip you will trek through small mountain villages, get to know the locals and their culture, while tackling the rugged wilderness and the region’s impressive mountain ranges.

You will also visit King’s Rock National Park, home to the Carpathian Large Carnivore Project which shelters wolves, lynx and bears.

Plus, no trip to Transylvania would be complete without a stop at Count Dracula’s castle!

Lynx Big Cat Project Visit

There is a one-day extension to visit the Putna-Vrancea Natural Park where you will meet representatives of the Biodiversity Conservation Association who are seeking to protect the ecology of the lynx species.

*Please note you must add the lynx big cat project as an extension when booking.
