Thank you for considering giving a rescue cat a home.
Our cats have so much to offer and we appreciate you giving them a second or third chance to enjoy a happy life! The cats have been veterinary health checked, vaccinated, microchipped, neutered (if old enough), treated for worms and fleas and come with 4 weeks free insurance from PetPlan.
Well, the adoption page is a little bare but that's not because we don't have any cats in care. We've been dealing with lots of enquiries and admissions. Currently we have mums with very young kittens in care who won't be ready for adoption for some time yet. The other cats we're looking after aren't quite ready for adoption. We'll add them to the page as soon as we can. Your patience and understanding is really appreciated.
Each cat has a unique personality and each one needs a loving home. We include cats who are reserved on the adoption page until they join their new families to show how many cats we're looking after.
What to do if you would like to give any of our cats a new home.
Please complete the contact form on the cat's profile page and if we think you're a match we'll call you back within 48 hours. We'll have more details about the cat and may also suggest other cats that may be suitable. It's important that we match up the right cat with the right home and everyone will be happy. We make a friendly 'virtual' home visit as part of our HANDS FREE HOMING process before adoption to let you know all about the cat you're interested in, answer any questions you have and offer advice about settling your new cat in. Cats Protection charges an adoption fee to help cover the costs of the cat's care during its stay with us. Thank you for your decision to adopt a Cats Protection cat.
Please note that if you live in rented accommodation you will be asked for proof that your landlord agrees to you having a pet.
