A cat pen provides a lifeline for abandoned and unwanted cats, giving them safety, care and the chance to find the loving new home they deserve.

Sponsoring one of our cat pens is one of the best ways you can help, providing local cats in need with shelter, warmth, food, medical care and the love they need. It's easy to become a sponsor right now, for only £6 per month. Your sponsor pen will be home to tiny kittens, old moggies and so many other unwanted cats.

Over the course of a year, your sponsorship will provide dozens of adorable cats and kittens with the essentials until they are ready to be rehomed:
Shelter - Unwanted cats desperately need shelter. Your cosy pen is heated and full of snuggly blankets to give an abandoned cat a warm welcome.
Care - You’ll help us microchip and neuter each cat, provide veterinary care and give lots of fuss and attention until we find them their new homes.
Food - From tiny, frail kittens to older cats with special requirements, your gift will help us provide a tailored diet to make sure every cat is fit and healthy.

FAQ
When supporting a charity, it is understandable that you want to know how your donation helps and where the money goes. That’s why we have come up with a useful list of frequently asked questions in order to answer any queries you might have about sponsoring a pen with Rugby Cats Protection.
Q: Will I help just one cat?
A: No, you 'll help lots! As a Rugby Cats Protection Sponsor you'll sponsor one of our pens. So whenever we rehome a cat that's being cared for in your pen, we will update you and tell you about their new forever home. Then a new cat in need will take their place and we will introduce you to that cat as well. Over time you will be able to help cat after cat.
Q: How does my sponsorship money help?
A: Your sponsorship helps to fund the food, shelter and medical care of the cats directly in your pen. It also contributes towards the care of every cat and kitten in Rugby Cats Protection.
Q: Where is my pen?
A: Your pen is located at the home of one of our volunteer Fosterers.
Q: Can I give Cats Sponsorship as a gift?
A: Yes. You're welcome to give Cat Sponsorship as a gift – it's ideal for anyone you know who loves cats. Please note, the sponsorship pack will be sent directly to your gift recipient.
A: Will I hear about all the cats that stay in the pen I'm sponsoring?
A: We'll send you as much information as we can about the cats that stay in your pen. Of course, if a cat stays with us for a very short space of time we probably won't be able to let you know about them. But we'll keep you up to date as much as we can.
Q: Can I visit?
A: Unfortunately, at the time of producing this leaflet, it is not possible for you to personally visit your pen. However, we will send you a Photo Tour of one of our pens.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: You can become a Rugby Cats Protection Sponsor for just £6 a month – that's the equivalent of 19p a day. Of course, you're welcome to make a bigger gift each month, or sponsor more than one pen – we need all the help we can get to care for these vulnerable cats.
Q: Can I adopt a sponsor cat?
A: All our sponsor cats are available for adoption but we cannot guarantee that they will be at the time of enquiry as we aim to rehome all our cats as soon as possible. Please call 0345 260 2749 to find out if the cat you're interested in is still in our care.
