Welcome to Cats Protection Strathspey Branch
We're here to support cats and kittens in Strathspey, covering postcodes: PH19, PH20, PH21, PH22, PH23, PH24, PH25, PH26.
Run by a small team of dedicated, cat-loving volunteers, we're passionate about improving the lives of cats and kittens in Strathspey, working to find loving new homes for local cats in our care, and lost and found cats, as well as general education and awareness within the Strathspey area. You can find out more about the work of Cats Protection here.
Strathspey Cats Protection is located within the Scottish wildcat (Felis sylvestris) release zone. Saving Wildcats aims to breed and release wildcats back into the wild to conserve the species. The Saving Wildcats project, based at RZSS Highland Wildlife Park, works closely with the Strathspey branch to mitigate the hybridisation risk from feral domestic cats and protect the released wildcats.
