Paws for a Poem: For all misplaced cats

"When the coronavirus lockdown was introduced, all of the regular Cats Protection fundraising activities stopped with immediate effect. Our charity shop shut and events such as village fetes were cancelled. This meant that we had to get creative and think of new ways to raise money to care for the cats that we had in our care.

Paws for a Poem is one of our initiatives, of which we are duly proud. The title of this book links to Cats Protection Pawsome initiatives such as Pawsome Tea fundraising tea parties. These have been held across the country and proved very popular."

All the poems featured in the book are entries from our poetry competition, from earlier this year. The cover photo is the winner of our photo competition, Niamh, owned by Nicola Taggart.
