Some of our cats may not be on show here.
For an update on our new arrivals, please contact our Adoption Officer - details above.

We do not have a central Rescue Centre - our welfare facilities consist of dedicated volunteer fosterers, in and around the Cheltenham and Tewkesbury area, caring for cats either in their own home or in specially designed pens in their garden - they spend considerable time making sure the cats are ready for adoption and their new forever homes.

Please have a look through all of the cats in our care and tell us which cat(s) you are interested in or what type of cat you are looking for, we will then arrange for you to visit any suitable cat(s) and help you make a decision.

Next, we carry out a home visit to ensure that your environment suits the needs of the cat; not every cat will suit your specific situation. At this time we will complete any relevant paperwork and answer any further questions.

Getting a cat ready for adoption is expensive. All of our cats have been treated to our minimum veterinary standards, meaning that they have been examined by a veterinary surgeon, been vaccinated against flu and enteritis, treated against fleas, roundworm and tapeworm and all high risk cats have been blood tested for FIV and FeLV. If the cat has not been neutered before or during its time in our care, provision will be made to ensure owners are able to do this after adoption; our recommended start age for neutering within Cats Protection is four months. We also provide Petplan cover for four weeks free of charge.
