If you find that you are unable to care for your cat(s) any longer, then we will help you to find them a new home. To qualify for this service we will need to see proof that your cat(s) have been neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped.They should also be in good health, with no known medical conditions. If we successfully match your cat with a new owner then we will ask for a re-homing fee of £50 for one cat and a further £30 for each extra cat. All money collected goes towards providing care for our cats.
We will need as much notice as possible. We also need a good quailty photo and an accurate description of your cat(s), their age, sex, personality and as much information about them as you can give. All cats re-homed by Cats Protection are subject to a veterinary check before re-homing.
Please continue to try to find a new home for your cat(s) yourself. If you manage to do this would you be kind enough to let us know so that we can update our website. We cannot guarantee to be able to assist you, but will make every effort to do so.

These cats are not in Cats Protection's care but will come with the same guarantees as any of our other cats. We offer this service to cats that are currently being cared for so that we can keep our pen spaces available for emergencies. Please take the time to read their stories and consider giving them a new home. For more information on adopting a cat please telephone or email as above. Thank you.
We now put our Direct Rehoming cats on our Adopt-A-Cat pages, as they are more likely to be viewed there. You can identify these by the (DR) after their name.
