About Us

Deeside Branch was established in 2008 and has grown to have six cat pens and one indoor room located with different fosterers.

All those who volunteer for us are unpaid and dedicate their free time to help with running the Branch and caring for cats in need. Our volunteers are a friendly group who help out with fostering, fundraising, home visits, trapping and the occasional photo shoot with our cat on the cat van!

What we Do

We take in cats of all ages and it is not our policy to put elderly or disabled animals to sleep. They are kept with our fosterers until new homes are found for them.

All of our cats are seen by a vet when they come in and any illnesses and medical problems are treated immediately. Before they are rehomed, they are vaccinated, neutered and microchipped.

As well as re-homing cats, we promote the trapping, neutering and returning of feral cats. If you know of feral cats in your area please contact us.  We will trap, neuter and return them ourselves, providing volunteers are available. Due to TNR being licensed

We also offer assisted neutering vouchers for those who are unable to pay the full cost of getting their cat neutered. Please keep an eye out for our Snip and Chip campaigns.
