Volunteers urgently required
CATLINE CALL HANDLER

The Branch is seeking a volunteer to help staff our Catline. The role involves retrieving voicemail messages throughout the day using your own phone and would involve one day per week – Monday is preferred – between 9 am and 6 pm. This would be an ideal way for someone to help cats without leaving the comfort of their own home. A knowledge of cats and cat behaviour would be helpful but training will be given.

FUNDRAISING CO-ORDINATOR - For some time now, we have been seeking a volunteer to take on the role of contacting supermarkets, etc for permission to hold fundraising/information stalls. There is already a regular stall held in St Peter's Street, Derby, and we would like this to continue.  Is this the 'job' for you?
 
Derby and District Branch has many vacancies for other volunteers such as Vet Runners.
We also need an Assistant to the Vet Liaison Officer - this is mostly an administrative role and can be carried out from home a couple of days a week.
Last but not least, volunteers are always needed at our charity shops in Derby and Wirksworth.
