Welcome to Cats Protection East Sussex Cat Centre

Here at East Sussex Cat Centre, we support cats and kittens in the East Sussex area, covering postcodes: BN20, BN21, BN22, BN23, BN24, BN26, BN27.

We have lots of lovely cats all patiently awaiting their forever homes. If you're interested in adopting a cat from us please take a look at our Adoption section.

If you think you could be the perfect match for one of our cats, fill out the contact form on their profile page. Even if you don’t see a suitable cat right now, register with us - more cats arrive every day in need of a home. Our friendly team will help you find a cat that suits your lifestyle and home, creating the perfect match and a lifelong friendship.

The centre welcomes visitors (see opening times below), but all viewings are by appointment. Once registered, you can meet potential feline companions. Registration can be done at reception, though we recommend doing this in advance to ensure suitable cats are ready to meet you.

We also offer our Hands-Free Homing scheme, so you can adopt safely and confidently from home.

Meet Buddy, Elfie and Spice

Three black kittens were found in a garden with no mum to be found.  They were young and were very scared. Here at the East Sussex Cat Centre, we have very slowly gained their trust and they will be looking for their forever homes very soon.

However, this year, we have seen the rate of abandoned cats and kittens like this increase by over 30% as a charity. We have launched this appeal to share insight into the kind of difficult situations we are facing, and to raise funds to help us support more cats like Buddy, Elfie and Spice who need us. Your support will provide the food, warmth and expert care that cats who we help need, until we find them a loving new home.

We receive no government funding and rely heavily on kind members of the public to support our work and allow us to help kittens like this who are in life-threatening situations. Even a small gift can help abandoned cats and kittens, and every penny makes a difference.

On behalf of Buddy, Elfie and Spice, thank you for reading!
