Welcome to Cats Protection Framlingham & Saxmundham

We’re here to support cats and kittens in and around the Framlingham & Saxmundham areas, covering postcodes IP12, IP13, IP15, IP16, IP17, IP18, IP19, IP20, IP21, IP22 & IP23.

Run by a small team of dedicated, cat-loving volunteers, we are dedicated to improving the lives of cats. and kittens in the areas in and around Framlingham & Saxmundham, finding loving new homes for cats in our care, offering support with neutering and lost and found cats, and raising general education and awareness within the Framlingham & Saxmundham area.

About Cats Protection Framlingham & Saxmundham: Now into our 36th year!

Cats Protection Framlingham & Saxmundham began in 1989, when a group of local people came together to help the growing number of abandoned and unwanted cats and kittens in our area. We became an official Cats Protection branch in 1990, and we’ve been helping cats ever since.

Today, our dedicated volunteers find loving homes for around 120 cats and kittens each year, while helping many more through veterinary care, neutering and welfare support. Every cat is cared for in a loving foster home or garden cabin, receiving the patience, kindness and individual attention they need until they find their forever home.

Adopt a cat in Framlingham & Saxmundham

Could you provide a loving new home for a cat in or around the Framlingham & Saxmundham areas? During the process of adopting a cat from us, we’ll consider everything from your potential pet’s personality and how this fits with your lifestyle, to your home environment – creating the perfect match for both cat and owner and the start of a wonderful feline friendship. The adoption fee is £75 for an adult cat and £95 for a kitten under six months old. If you're able to make a donation on top of the fee, that would be gratefully received. We can claim Gift Aid on additional donations if you pay tax.

If you’re interested in one of our cats, please use the enquiry button on their profile, email enquiries@framandsax.cats.org.uk or call 01728 723 499. Before adoption, we’ll arrange a home visit to answer questions and ensure the cat is suited to your home. Rented properties require written landlord permission.

We attend many fund raising events throughout the year and we always welcome additional helpers - in fact, all events are subject to having enough people to help on the day! Volunteer at Cats Protection Framlingham & Saxmundham

Without volunteers, Cats Protection Framlingham & Saxmundham simply wouldn't exist. Our amazing, friendly volunteers are a diverse group with a shared love of cats who fit volunteering around their home lives and personal commitments.

We're often looking to welcome new volunteers to join our brilliant team. As well as meeting great people and making an incredible difference to the cats in and around Framlingham & Saxmundham, you'll enjoy practical benefits such as discounted pet insurance.
