DaphneGosport Town

Daphne is a cat full of character! Vocal and affectionate, Daphne is a 13-year-old who knows what she likes. Initially a little uncertain around new people, a little patience is all that’s required to bring out Daphne’s true character. Daphne enjoys gentle stroking and is particularly fond of chin and neck rubs, although always on her own terms. She’s also got a playful side and particularly enjoys the toy mice and dangling bird toy in her pen.

Daphne has undergone a thorough health check, is in good general health and will be having a dental before adoption. She would be best suited to a more mature household, without young children, and could be an indoor cat in the right home. Daphne needs to be an only cat and is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.

Daphne is being cared for in the Ben Potter Memorial pen which has been generously funded as a memorial to Ben Potter by his wife Ruth, daughter Donna and son-in-law Paul. A former Gosport CP cat, Seti, became Ben's constant companion during his illness and following Ben’s death in 2017 his family felt a new foster pen would be a fitting memorial. The family are long term supporters of Gosport CP and this special foster pen will enable the charity to care for more cats and give them the chance of a happy new home.
