Considering adopting a cat but don't own your own home? We'll need to see written landlord permission allowing you to have a cat in the property, whether you rent privately, from family, through a council or housing association and please do obtain the permission before submitting an adoption enquiry.  

Cats Protection Gosport charges an adoption fee of £100 per cat and £120 per kitten up to age 6 months. Thank you for your decision to rehome a CP cat. For the adoption fee, your pet will have had a veterinary health check, be microchipped, vaccinated, spayed or neutered (if old enough), treated for fleas and worms and there's four weeks free insurance from PetPlan.

After preparing for your new arrival, we kindly request that you adopt your cat within seven days of meeting him or her.
