Run by a small team of dedicated, cat-loving volunteers, we’re passionate about improving the lives of cats and kittens in Brockley, New Cross, Blackheath and Deptford, working to find loving new homes for local cats in our care, offering support with neutering, and lost and found cats, as well as general education and awareness within the Blackheath and Deptford area. NEUTERING VOUCHERS: If you receive certain benefits, or have a household income of below 25k, we can provide a voucher enabling you to neuter and microchip your cat for £10.

Vouchers are available for residents of SE3, SE4, SE8, SE14 and certain other SE and E London postcodes.

Tabby cat hiding in the undergrowth Inbetweener cats exist somewhere on the spectrum between domestic and feral cats.

Truly feral cats are essentially wild animals who will seek to avoid any human interaction, whereas fully domestic cats have experienced positive interactions with humans before they are 8 weeks old, and are consequently what is termed as ‘socialised’ - meaning they enjoy being stroked and sitting on laps etc.

Inbetweener cats usually live outdoors, and are comfortable residing in proximity to humans. Many are regularly fed by people and will form a bond of trust with their feeders, but will usually shy away from being touched.
