Welcoming a new cat into your home should not be taken lightly

But we will support you to help you make the right choice for you and the cat.

That includes four weeks free insurance for all cats, from the cuddly kittens and those in their twilight years. 

Our insurance partner PetPlan is one provider that warmly welcomes new owners of cats in their later years. 

Once you have thought carefully about getting a cat and feel ready for the responsibility, it's time to take the next step. Simply visit our local foster homes and meet the cats looking for new homes. 

Our volunteers are happy to discuss the personalities of the cats and which ones may suit you.

Before you can take a cat home we will do an owner interview to ensure that the cat or cats you have chosen fit your circumstances. An interview is a great chance for you to ask any questions that you may have. In some circumstances we will feel it necessary to do a home visit for cats with particular needs or personalities. All of our cats are: 

  • Vet health-checked
  • Vaccinated
  • Microchipped
  • Neutered (if old enough)
  • De-flead and wormed

We have many cats that are desperate for homes but please bear in mind that we are volunteers, many with jobs, so a response to your messages may not be instant.
