Adopt a cat
If you are interested in adopting any of our cats please contact the fosterer directly where their details are listed. There may be some cats in our care that have not yet made it to our website. Please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org for further information.
Please note, we can not reserve cats for longer than 7 days, if you have future plans that mean you can't take the cat straight away, please wait until you are ready before enquiring about it. Sadly we have very limited resources and it's in the best interest of the cats to be homed as soon as possible, which also frees up the valuable space for the next cat that needs our help.
All our cats will have been vet checked and treated for fleas and worms before being ready for Adoption. Our current Adoption fee is £50 per cat, which includes vaccinations, neutering, microchipping and 4 weeks free insurance via Petplan. To find out more about why we charge an adoption fee you can read the Adoption Fee Explained Leaflet
Adoption is subject to a successful home visit. To read more click here Having a Home Visit. If you have previously adopted a cat/kitten from us and are still living in the same house, we won't need to complete another home visit. If you have had a home visit via another branch for the same house, you can give us their details, once confirmed from them, another home visit is not required. Please mention these details when you ring the Fosterer.
From time to time we help to re-home cats that are on our list waiting for a space, to view these cats please see the 'Direct Homing' link on the left. You will be dealing directly with the current owner, therefore there is no liability with Cats Protection, the information provided has been given by the owner.
Some of the cats in our care may not yet be on our website. If you are looking for a feline companion, please contact us on 01761 410594
