Black and black-and-white cats make up approximately 45% of the cats that come into the care of Cats Protection. They take, on average, 22% longer to find a home than cats of other colours. For some reason, they seem to be overlooked. Black cats are just as unique and wonderful as their colourful friends.
Today is Black Cat Awareness Day - join us in celebrating these cats, and check out the current black and black-and-white cats in our care (see the Adopt a Cat section) maybe you could be the one to give them the loving home they have been waiting for!
