* FOOD RECALL ALERT * Fold Hill Foods Ltd is recalling a number of dry cat food products it manufactures on behalf of selected partner brands.
We are voluntarily recalling the dry cat products we manufacture for the brands detailed here https://bit.ly/3pTzdqM
as a precautionary measure.
We are supporting an investigation by the food and veterinary authorities into a possible safety issue affecting cats.
The Food Standards Agency Product Recall Notice can also be found here: https://www.food.gov.uk/news-alerts/alert/fsa-prin-36-2021-update-1 (please note this was updated by Applaws 18/06/21).
If you have bought any of the products detailed in the link above you should stop feeding them to your cat. If you have bought an AVA product contact www.petsathome.com and fill out the contact form on the help page or livechat. If you have bought an Applaws product contact www.applaws.com/uk/contact-us. If you have bought a Sainsbury’s product contact www.sainsburys.co.uk/help or their Customer Careline on 0800 636262. If cat owners are concerned about the health of their pet then they should seek immediate advice from their vet.
'Although the Royal Veterinary College is still unable to confirm a link between the recent rise in feline pancytopenia cases and cat food, we wanted to remind everyone that our advice remains the same: please stay vigilant and contact your vet if you are worried.

Felix pet food pouches (14.7.21)
There has been some social media discussion around the changes to some of the Felix pouches and whether these have been linked to cases of cats getting unwell. Rest assured that all Felix wet food is safe for cats to eat. We have no reason to believe this food is harmful and cats can react to certain cat food brands that disagree with them from time to time.
