Rehoming Success Story: Dee, Dean, Dale - Sep 2022

Theodore, Matilda and Finley (prevously Dee, Dean and Dale) were in the care of North Herts Cats Protection in 2022 and we homed them to their forever loving home. Their adopter has been in touch to let us know how they've been getting on:

"When we first met Finley at the fosterers, he was the first to greet us. Welcoming us with a huge meow and a playful demeanour, Finley immediately won our hearts. Finley remains the boldest of the trio and appears to pave the way for the other two. When we brought them to their new home, Fin was the first out of the carrier, followed gingerly (no pun intended) by Theo, and finally Tilly. Finley remains incredibly playful, but surprised us by also being incredibly affectionate, following us from room to room and always wanting to be near us.

Back at the fosterers, Theo was the second to stumble out on his wobbly ginger legs. In complete contrast to Fin, Theo came across dopey and adorably cuddly. Theo looks like he’s been plucked straight off a cutesy birthday card and completely flops in your arms when you hold him. He loves to play with a shoelace, but has an endearing tendency to ruin playtime for everybody else by wandering off with the toy to stash in their cardboard box fort. Theo has an incredibly kind heart, and was a huge comfort for shy little Tilly when they first came home.

Tilly is such a sweet and beautiful kitten. From day one, she was incredibly weary of us, returning our advances with hisses and scared ears. We knew that with enough love, she would come out of her shell and grow in confidence. Tilly has now shown herself to be very playful and inquisitive. She even initiates cuddles on her own now, when she sees Theo being fussed, and loves a scratch behind the ear.

All three love to play chase around the house, and are slowly building a relationship with their new big sister Meredith, who is 3 years old. They enjoy hanging out with us in the evenings and snuggling up on the sofa. They are firmly part of the family, and we now can’t imagine life without them."

We're delighted that these three are doing so well, if you've adopted a cat or kitten from North Herts Cats Protection and would like to send an update please contact us, we'd love to hear from you.
