Rehoming Success Story: Rocky - Oct 2022

Rocky was in the care of North Herts Cats Protection in 2022 and we homed him to his forever loving home. His adopter has been in touch to let us know how he's been getting on.

"We adopted Rocky three weeks ago and he already an important member of our family. We knew we wanted another cat and Cats Protection are an excellent way to get a cat. Rocky was a stray but had made real progress at the cattery with the foster team. When we first visited he came out almost immediately to meet us. We knew after that first meeting he was right for us.

It only took 4 days hiding behind the sofa before Rocky decided to come out and have his first lap cuddle. It turns out he has a loud purr and and even louder mew when he wants food. He is very playful and loves his catnip mouse and his soft ball. He also loves shoes and laces.

We are very thankful to all the team at Cats Protection but especially Paula who has taken us through the whole process.
Next weekend Rocky will be venturing outside for the first time now he is happy around the house."

We're delighted that Rocky has fallen on his feet. If you've adopted a cat from North Herts Cats Protection and would like to send an update please contact us, we'd love to hear from you.
