Rehoming Success Story: Sylvester - Dec 2021

Syvester was in the care of North Herts Cats Protection in 2021 and we homed him to his forever loving home. He has been in touch with the following message:

"Hiya, my name Sylvester and I was taken into Cats Protection Care earlier this year and Paula and Co. helped me back into a better condition. I had been a bit of a scrapper and got a duff left eye for my troubles as well as becoming arthritic in a back leg.
With these problems I despaired of ever going to a new home but one Sunday in November I was visited by a prospective carer and later on that week I was whisked off in his car to somewhere – my catnav isn’t that good, no reboot required though.
Once unloaded from the car I was released from the carrier to be met with 2 other inmates. Ollie, a long term lifer and Jake who arrived at my new shared home a few weeks earlier.
Anyway I settled down and made friends (after a few hisses!) with my fellow cats. Life is pretty relaxed and soon got into the habit of feeding times (I DO like my food) and being allowed to sit/relax wherever I want.
Due to having a dodgy rear leg I cannot jump but very good at crawling onto the chairs, window sills and bed!
I enjoy my little walks in the enclosed garden with my new chums and generally pleased with my life now.
Thanks to Paula and Bianca I am a very contented cat and yet another success story for NHCP."
