As a nation, we’ve rarely appreciated our cats more. They’re here for us when we’re feeling worried or lonely, here to distract us and help the days pass and here as a great comfort and source of joy. Our cats are here for us all. Please help us to be #HereForTheCats, by supporting our branches special Coronavirus Appeal. Please donate by clicking the link below:https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/NorthSheffieldThank you from all the volunteers at North Sheffield Branch
Hands Free Homing
We are now able to home our cats once again with our new "Hands Free Homing". Please visit our adoption page to find out more and view the cats we have available for adoption!
In these challenging times, Cats Protection is taking extra precautions to keep our cats, volunteers, employees and the public safe and continue to provide high levels of care for the cats in our centres and branches as well as helpful welfare advice to cat owners.
Unfortunately this does mean that some activities, including face-to-face fundraising and events, have been put on hold until further notice.
At this time we are also unable to take any more cats into our care other than in exceptional circumstances. If you have an emergency situation and you think you need to rehome your cat please contact us on 03000 12 12 12 or email@example.com
We will issue updates when the situation changes. Thank you for your understanding and support.
Welcome to the North Sheffield branch of Cats Protection. Our branch was established in 1988 and is run completely by dedicated volunteers who give their free time to help, several of the founder members are still active today. We always welcome new volunteers, no matter how little time you have.
Our dedicated supporters foster cats, raise funds and generally keep the branch going, enabling us to take unwanted cats and kittens into care year in year out.
We believe that there is a loving home out there somewhere for every cat, we try to ensure that every cat is given the chance of a life where it will be treated with kindness and understanding, and we never put a cat, kitten, elderly or ill cat to sleep except on clear veterinary advice.
We are committed to caring for the cats who, often through no fault of their own come into care. Our aim is to rehome them safely with loving families, and our policy of home visits helps match the right cat to the right home.
