Fosterers Needed

Do you love cats but are not able to offer a forever home? Then fostering for our branch may be the answer
If you are at home most of the time and have a spare room, then why not do something really rewarding and practical to help these desperate cats & kittens. All we ask is your time & your spare room....all the cats ask for is your love & care. All costs - food, litter, toys, vets bills etc are met by Cats Protection

r fostering team accommodates cats and kittens in a variety of ways such as: in a spare room, in part of the house, with free run of the house, or in purpose-built garden pens as the cats cannot go outside or mix with your own pets. All of the cats in our care that are ready for homing on our website are being fostered now in one of those ways

Most fostering cases fall into the following scenarios: one cat, a pair of cats, a pregnant female, a mother and litter, weaned kittens, a senior kittizen, or an emergency case

We are a small branch with a limited number of fosterers. We can't help as many needy cats as we'd like, simply because we don't have foster homes to put them in. The summer months are especially difficult as it is kitten season

Fostering is a very rewarding experience as it is a great chance to make a difference to the life of a needy feline while they are waiting to find a new home. Read our news item "Fosterers Needed" to see if this role might be for you
