What we do

Weymouth & District Branch provides a service to

Weymouth, Portland, Dorchester, Bridport & the Purbecks

& all the areas in between.

Our Branch offers advice on many aspects of cat care, and maintains a register of lost & found cats.

Locally we operate the Cats Protection assisted neutering scheme, providing vouchers which are accepted by all local vets as part-payment for the neutering of cats, (helping people experiencing financial difficulties).

We accommodate stray and unwanted cats and kittens, whilst always seeking good 'forever homes' for them.

This work is currently done by a very small friendly team of volunteers and we are keen to build upon our current success with new key team members.

Do take a look at our volunteering pages, your skills might be just what we are looking for!

We are all unpaid volunteers.
