Neutering Volunteers (Flyering)

Our branch's primary focus is to improve the lives of cats and kittens in the North Antrim and Glens area, via neutering. This is so important to preventing unwanted kittens, and unnecessary suffering. We do this in a lot of ways - trap neuter return, low cost pet cat neutering etc. Sometimes, an area is unaware of the importance of neutering and the help we can provide, and is identified as a hotspot. That's where you come in!

Our neutering volunteers understand the importance of neutering, and seek to educate members of the public about this and inform them of how we can help. You will be a spokesperson to promote neutering, and may target these hotspot areas by flyering the area and speaking to residents to identify what help is needed - you will pave the way for our transport, lost and found and TNR volunteers to step in and efficiently help.

As this role will be communication based, having good communication and people skills would be a great advantage. However, full training and support is provided! This is a flexible role around your spare time, and can be more sporadic so is a great role if you aren't sure when you will have free time to volunteer.

If interested, please email enquiries@northantrimandglens.cats.org.uk to arrange a chat and obtain a volunteer application form.

Our branch covers the BT41-44 area, and the BT51-57 area (you of course don't need to cover that entire area!).
