Transport Volunteers

If you’re a confident driver with a clean driving record and would enjoy the company of some furry passengers, our Transport Volunteer role could be just right for you. Transport volunteers may transport cats from A to B, or transport goods to our foster volunteers among other things! No day is the same in the world of rescue!

We are particurlaly in need of transport volunteers at the moment in the north coast area, especially those willing to transport cats from the north coast to Ballymena area.

Who can become a Transport Volunteer?
All Transport Volunteers need to hold a full, clean driving licence and have no motoring convictions. You must have held your licence for at least 1 year. You must have access to your own vehicle (mileage expenses provided to compensate for own vehicle use).

How much time do I need to commit to this role?
This is a flexible role, so if interested we can work around your schedule. You are never obligated to assist, so you can turn down a request or take a break if you are busy!

How do i apply
Please email enquiries@northantrimandglens.cats.org.uk for a chat and a volunteer application form if interested!

We cover the BT41-44 and BT51-57 areas (but obviously you won't need to cover that entire area! You can transport only local to your location if preferred).
