Welcome to Cats Protection Bournemouth & District Branch


Run by a small team of dedicated, cat-loving volunteers, we’re passionate about improving the lives of local cats and kittens, finding them loving new homes and offering support with neutering.

Cat adoption in Bournemouth & District

If you can provide a loving new home for a cat in our area please take a look at the cats currently available for adoption below. To express your interest in a particular cat, please enquire via their listing or for further information about the adoption process, please call us on: 01202 946 303 or 01202 840 543 or email us at adoption@bournemouth.cats.org.uk

We do at times receive lots of applications for the same cats and we thank you for your enquiry. If the cat you are interested in is already reserved, we do hope that we may be able to match you with one of our beautiful cats available for adoption in the future. 

Our adoption fee is £85 for an adult cat, and £105 for a kitten. All foster cats are vet checked, neutered (if they are old enough), vaccinated, receive preventative flea and worm treatment, and microchipped.

Without volunteers, Cats Protection Bournemouth & District simply wouldn't exist. Our amazing, friendly volunteers are a diverse group with a shared love of cats who fit volunteering around their home lives and personal commitments.

We're often looking to welcome new volunteers to join our brilliant team.
