Welcome to Cats Protection Wales Cat Centre

We’re here to support cats and kittens in Bridgend, covering postcodes: CF23, CF31, CF32, CF33, CF34, CF35, CF36, CF37, CF38, CF39, CF40, CF41, CF42, CF43, CF46, CF61, CF62, CF63, CF64, CF71, CF72, CF83, SA11, SA12 and SA13.

Run by a dedicated team of cat lovers, we’re passionate about improving the lives of cats and kittens in Bridgend and surrounding area, working to find loving new homes for local cats in our care, offering support with neutering, and lost and found cats, as well as general education and awareness within the Bridgend area.

Cat adoption in Wales

Could you provide a loving new home for a cat in Bridgend or the surrounding area? During the process of adopting a cat from us, we’ll consider everything from your potential pet’s personality and how this fits with your lifestyle, to your home environment – creating the perfect match for both cat and owner and the start of a wonderful feline friendship.

Volunteer at Cats Protection Wales Cat Centre

Without volunteers, Cats Protection Bridgend Adoption Centre simply wouldn't exist. Our amazing, friendly volunteers are a diverse group with a shared love of cats who fit volunteering around their home lives and personal commitments.

We're often looking to welcome new volunteers to join our brilliant team. As well as meeting great people and making an incredible difference to the cats of Bridgend, you'll enjoy practical benefits such as discounted pet insurance. Fosterer volunteer

Wales Cat Centre

Across the UK, many cats are cared for by volunteer fosterers who provide a stable, safe and loving environment in their homes or in purpose-built pens in their gardens. They provide vital hands-on care and accommodation to stray or abandoned cats or cats whose owners could sadly no longer keep them, and are part of a dedicated team of volunteers committed to finding new homes for cats in need. Opening times

There will be resurfacing work carried out on the road outside the centre starting on Wednesday 03/09/2024 at 8 am. The centre will still be accessible but we have been advised this will cause delays. Please be mindful of this if you have an appointment at the centre for bringing in or collecting a cat, thank you.

Our normal opening hours are Monday - Sunday 11 am - 3 pm (closed Tuesdays)
