Adopt a cat

How to adopt a cat from Cambridge Cats Protection. Please note: during the pandemic we are carrying out hands-free homing - read more here.

All our rescue cats need to be homed where they have free access to explore a safe garden via a cat flap (read more about our cat flap policy here.)
Contact us by phone on 01223 528312 – please leave a message if you get the answer phone.
Normally we would visit your home to talk you through the homing process - but recently due to Covid-19 we have been hands-free homing. Please call to find out about the latest on our homing process.

Due to increasing costs of cat care, our adoption fee will increase from 1st October to £60 for a cat and £90 for a pair.
All our cats come fully vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, flea'd, wormed and with 4 weeks free Petplan insurance. We are happy to provide follow up advice after all adoptions.
You may like to know that we don't have a shelter: foster cats are looked after individually by our dedicated volunteer fosterers in their own homes.
