We are particularly looking for fosterers and digital support.

Fosterers needed

Fosterers care for homeless cats on a short-term basis until they find permanent homes. If you have a spare room or garden space for an outdoor pen, you could make a real difference. The indoor room must be dedicated solely to your foster cat, and even occasional fostering, such as covering when another fosterer is on holiday, can be a huge help. You’ll need to be a driver with a clean licence to transport cats when needed.

Fostering is incredibly rewarding, and the more fosterers we have, the more cats we can help. You can foster indoors (kittens always stay inside) or outdoors in a branch-funded cabin. All supplies - food, litter, and equipment - are delivered to your door, and full training and ongoing support are provided. You can take breaks whenever needed, so you’re never committed year-round.

Kitten fosterers should be home much of the time to give the care and attention little ones need, while adult cat fostering fits easily around work. We carefully match cats to homes and do everything we can to make fostering simple and enjoyable.

Interested? Call 0345 371 2739 (Mailbox 4) and we’ll get back to you within 48 hours. You can even meet an experienced fosterer before deciding. Become a fosterer - you’ll be glad you did!
