Cat adoption in Derby & District

This branch does not directly rehome pet cats. If you want to adopt or rehome a cat, you can find cats in need of loving new homes at Derby Adoption Centre.

However, we are always in need of suitable environments for the many feral cats and kittens that, for whatever reason, find themselves without somewhere to call home. Most feral cats prefer the freedom of a working life to a comfortable lap in suburbia and we have had some very positive feedback in terms of reduced rodent problems from the many farms, stables and warehouses that have adopted a feral or two from us in the past. These mousers can provide a very efficient and environmentally-friendly alternative to chemical pest control. Garden centres, golf clubs, smallholdings, farms, stables, shops; in fact, anywhere where there is room to roam and rodents to catch, will be these cats’ idea of heaven and will provide working cats with a suitable environment in which to live and work and do what they do best!
