Adopt a cat
HANDS-FREE HOMING
We're using a hands-free homing approach during the COVID-19 lockdown restrictions. We have in place procedures to enable carefully controlled rehoming without putting people at undue risk of infection. We can't guarantee that you'll be able to adopt a cat at this time, but we'll be ensuring that all our cats are matched with potential owners who can provide the environment and lifestyle required by each individual cat. You will find descriptions and photos of the cats in their profiles to help you decide which one might be for you.
ENQUIRE
If you like the look of one of our cats, send us an enquiry via email to adoption@epsom.cats.org.uk or give us a call on 0345 260 1387. If we think you’re a match, we'll give you a call to take a few more details and discuss the cat. We will need to talk through the hands-free homing process and the important information about settling a cat in and cat care. If all is well, we'll reserve the cat for you and proceed to the adoption.
ADOPT
Once your cat has been reserved, we will send the adoption paperwork via email for you to review and sign. We will be able to finalise the adoption once this paperwork has been returned and when the adoption fee has been paid online. The paperwork consists of an adoption form and PetPlan Terms for your cat's free one-month insurance cover. We will call you to arrange a date and time to deliver the cat to you.
SUPPORT
After the adoption we will follow up with you to see how your cat is settling in. We will check in with you at 3, 7 and 28 days from arrival. However, we are only a phone call or email away, so please don't hesitate to get in touch for any advice or help you might need.
FIND YOUR CAT
Please scroll down to see the cats that we have in care - there are always more cats behind the scenes who haven't made it to the website yet. If you don't see the cat for you, do ask as we may have a new arrival who fits the bill perfectly! If you spot a cat you're interested in please mention their name when giving us a call on the number against the cat, or on 0345 260 1387, or by emailing us at adoption@epsom.cats.org.uk.
