Falmouth and Helston Branch are now recruiting new outdoor fosterers to join our fabulous volunteering team.  We are looking for volunteers who can commit to a minimum of 2 years.  You don't need to have lots of experience or knowledge of cats, there would be full support and you learn as you go along.   You would need to have enough space on your property to install a 14 foot x 4 foot outdoor pen, be able to transport cats to the vets to have their pre-adoption checks and treatment done, be happy for prospective new owners to visit to see cats and be prepared to follow Cat Protection Standards and Protocols.  We cover the installation costs and the day to day care costs, i.e. food and litter, you give the time and the love/attention to the cats in your care.  For logistical reasons we are looking for people who either live in the TR10, TR11, TR12 or TR13 postcodes, or on the outskirts of them.  If you'd like more information then please email us on enquiries@falmouth.cats.org.uk and we can give you more information and answer any initial questions you have.

We are looking for additional indoor fosterers to join our amazing team of volunteers.  In order to foster indoors you need a room that can be solely for the care of the cat/kittens.  The floor should be wood, vinyl etc. and furnishing that can be easily cleaned for infection control purposes.  You will need to have a love of cats, an interest in their welfare and be prepared to follow Cat Protection Standards and Policies.  You will also need to be able to take cats to the vets for pre-adoption checks.  For logistical reasons you also need to live either in the TR10, TR11, TR12 or TR13 postcode or on the outskirts.  For further information please contact us, either on enquiries@falmouth.cats.org.uk or by phone on 0345 3712729.
