Adopt a cat

During Lockdown Cats Protection introduced hands-free homing to help the cats in our care, which has been very successful in finding many of the cats in our care lovely new homes.

From 19 July 2021 following Government guidance we will be continuing to rehome our cats virtually however, we are pleased to announce we will also be able to invite customers matched to cats to the centre via appointment for adoption introductions.   Please note any adoption introductions for matched cats will be via pre-arranged appointment only. “walk-in” cattery visits are no longer available.

If you are interested in adopting a cat in our care, You can find out more about how to adopt from Cats Protection here.

As the cats become available for homing they will be listed below.   If you are interested in applying for one of these cats please click on their profile to read their story, and if you feel you could be a match complete a form by clicking on the yellow ‘Contact us about this cat’ button.

When matching cats, we consider everything from your potential pet’s personality and personal need and how these fit with your lifestyle, to your home environment and location – looking to create the perfect match for both cat and owner and the start of a wonderful feline friendship.   We therefore ask that you consider the specific personalities and needs of each cat of interest before applying.

We do at times receive multiple interests for the same cats meaning we cannot guarantee you will be able to adopt a cat at this time.

Please note in order to be able to provide appropriate support to our customers we are prioritising adopters in our local area, within approximately 20 miles of our Centre.
