Welcome to Frome & District Cats Protection website

STOP PRESS - We won the STAR Team Award! Thank you to everyone who voted for us! Read the full report by Pam.

Here you'll find lots of information on the cats we have available for adoption, as well as useful information about our branch.

The Frome & District Branch is run entirely by a team of dedicated volunteers. We work to promote the well-being of cats in Frome, Trowbridge, Westbury, Warminster and the surrounding areas in the following ways:

  • Homing: we seek loving permanent homes for the cats we have in our care who are ready for adoption
  • Information: improving people’s understanding of cats and their care
  • Volunteering: our volunteers give their time to help homeless cats and kittens by caring for them in purpose-built cat pens in their gardens or in specially adapted spare rooms in their homes. More info

We have a Lost and Found register, please get in touch if your cat is lost or if you find a cat and we'll add them to the page. Please also check in regularly to view our Lost and Found cats as you could help reunite missing cats with their owners.

We also run regular events throughout the year from attending local fetes, fairs and village days to regional events and international events such as our Himalayan adventure next year.

There are many ways you can help from joining CP, volunteering or sponsoring a cat pen. Head over here to see how else you can help. Thank you for being involved.
