Welcome to Cats Protection Isle of Wight Cat Centre

Run by a small team of dedicated cat lovers, we’re passionate about improving the lives of cats and kittens on the Isle of Wight. We work hard to find loving new homes for all the cats in our care and encourage general feline education and awareness across the Isle of Wight. 

We're here to support cats and kittens covering all Isle of Wight postcodes. We can also rehome and help cats in other surrounding areas if their local Cats Protection is unable to help. 

Centre hours to view the cats by appointment only: 10am - 12pm and 1pm - 4pm daily, please ring for an appointment

Please register your interest about one of our cats by using the "Enquire about me" button on the adopt a cat page. If you’d like to discuss our adoption process please give us a call on 03000 120 251 (the centre is closed on Tuesdays).

Cat adoption in the Isle of Wight

Could you provide a loving new home for a cat on Isle of Wight and surrounding areas. During the process of adopting a cat from us, we’ll consider everything from your potential pet’s personality and how this fits with your lifestyle, to your home environment – creating the perfect match for both cat and owner and the start of a wonderful feline friendship. Adopting a cat can bring so much joy, love, and companionship into your life, and we are here to help you every step of the way.

We run appointments to view the cats - apply online or give us call to discuss adopting one of our cats. Call 03000 120 251

The adoption fee is £100 for an adult cat and £120 for a kitten (under 6 months old)

Cat Protection cats are health checked, vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, treated for fleas/worms and come with 4 weeks FREE Pet Plan insurance.

Transport volunteer

If you enjoy driving and would love to use those skills to help our cats, this could be the role for you. Our transport volunteers provide vital assistance to our teams and volunteer groups in the local area by transporting equipment, litter, food – and even cats! Unfortunately we do not have the facilities to help with strays off the Island at present but can offer advice.
