Adopt a cat, our cats and how to see them.

If you’re thinking about offering a home to a Cats Protection cat or kitten that’s great news! There is a lot to think about, but we are here to make the adoption process as smooth as possible and hopefully to take away some of the worries from what can be an emotional time.

One of our main objectives is to find good homes for all of the cats in our care. We want to make sure that the cat coming into your life is the right cat for you, your family, your lifestyle and your plans for the future.

For example, you will need to consider whether you can look after a cat for up to 20 years and if you are prepared to take him to the vet at least once a year for a check up and vaccination. There are other expenses such as feeding, litter and insurance while you will also need to make sure your cat is looked after if you go on holiday.

That way, the process of settling your new family member into his new home will
be that much easier and mean you have the very best chance of a long and happy life together.

All of our cats and kittens are neutered, vaccinated, de-flead/wormed, microchipped and come with 4 weeks free Petplan insurance.

There is a set adoption fee for all cats and kittens.

You must first complete an adoption questionnaire before adopting or booking one of the cats.

Hands free homing
We are delighted to be taking part in Cats Protection's new Hands-Free Homing. We’re keen to help as many cats as possible, both during the current crisis and beyond. Offering our cats a home will help to free up more space to take in emergency cases. Learn more here
