What we do

Formed in 1927, Cats Protection has grown to become the UK's leading feline welfare charity. We now help over 235,000 cats and kittens every year through our network of 30 adoption centres, one homing centre and over 260 volunteer-run branches.

Founded in 2012, The Medway Towns Neutering Branch's mission is to actively encourage the neutering of cats in the local community.

We are run entirely by hard-working volunteers who dedicate their spare time to making the lives of cats and kittens in our area better.

We have a neutering scheme that is designed to help local cat owners on limited incomes to get their cats neutered, by contributing financially towards the cost of the operation. More information about our neutering scheme can be found on our neutering page.

We can offer support to cat owners living within the following postcodes: ME1, ME2, ME3, ME4, ME5, ME6, ME7 and ME8.

We regularly hold events to raise funds so that we can continue the work that we do.

We have a shop in Franklin Road, Gillingham. If you purchase from our shop or regularly donate items, this directly supports our branch.
