Adopt a cat
Please SCROLL down to see the cats in our care.
***PLEASE NOTE THAT IF WE HAVE KITTENS IN OUR CARE WE WILL POST ON OUR WEBSITE FOR AN ADOPTION ENQUIRY. DUE TO THE VOLUME OF APPLICATIONS FOR KITTENS WE CANNOT COMPILE A WAITING LIST *
If you are interested in offering a cat a permanent home and like the look of one of our cats, send us an enquiry through the website. At this stage we will ask for “PROOF OF YOUR ADDRESS” i.e drivers licence, council tax, bank statement, utility bill etc
If you are in leased/ rented accommodation we also require written proof from your landlord which confirms that pets are allowed. We will only be able to proceed with your enquiry once this documentation is received.
If we think you’re a match, we’ll give you a call to discuss the cat and reserve if this cat is suited to you. If this cat is already reserved we have a range of cats in our care and our Homing Officer will be happy to tell you about other suitable cats that may be right for you and your home.
A guide to our adoption process
We try to respond to all calls and queries as quickly as possible however this does tend to be in the evenings and at weekends. It can sometimes take us a day or so to return your call.
Our homing volunteer will speak to you about the cats in our care, suitability, and following this, where a cat has been reserved for you this will be done. The arrangements for adoption will follow once the appropriate paperwork has been emailed, e-signed and the adoption fee paid.
Every cat or kitten who leaves our care has been neutered, micochipped, vaccinated, de-flead, wormed and comes with 4 weeks pet insurance.
Thank you for considering giving a rescue cat a new home. Our cats have so much to offer and we appreciate you giving them a second or third chance to enjoy a happy life.
Not all of the cats in our care are on our website, we always have other cats coming into branch care, other cats who are in care and have not yet been photographed, or others recuperating and not yet ready to be adopted, but can be reserved and can be adopted when ready. Our normal cat in care capacity can be anywhere between 20 and 35 cats in care at any time.
Please do contact us if you are interested in adopting a cat or kitten. Even if we don’t have a cat in care suitable just now, we may know of a cat waiting to come in who may be ideal.
Thank you for thinking about adopting a cat from us. Please see Adopting a cat or kitten for more information on our adoption procedures.
Our adoption fee is £120 for a kitten or adult cat.
EVERY CAT OR KITTEN ADOPTED FROM US IS ALREADY NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, WORMED, DEFLEAD AND VACCINATED. GIVING THEM THE BEST START IN THEIR NEW HOME
