Cats of the Month, November 2017: Mia and Noir

**UPDATE - MIA AND NOIR HAVE FOUND A HOME!**

Following National Black Cat Day, we have decided to have two Cats of the Month for November - our two black cats, Mia and Noir, to be homed separately.

Mia (needs access to outside)

Mia is a shorthair black cat with mesmerising eyes. Beautiful Mia has been with us for several months, and is desperate to find her forever home. She loves to play and to interact with you that way. We can tell Mia is a natural adventurer – she tries to open doors all on her own and climbs to the top of her pen!

She sometimes likes to be stroked, but at the moment, may lash out when she has had enough. She needs to learn to trust again, and so needs to get to know you and become comfortable and confident with you. Mia is fine if she is not crowded - it is best to let her come to you when she is ready.

Because of this, we feel she needs an experienced owner who is used to cats and their many temperaments, as her change of mood can be spotted. A household with no young children would be ideal.

Mia desperately wants to find a home soon, and we really want that for her - she deserves a loving, caring forever home with an owner who will love her and will treat her with the kindness and patience she craves.

If you are interested in adopting Mia, we would love to hear from you. Please call us on 01438 228877 or contact us online via Mia's page.

Noir (to be kept indoors)

Noir is a beautiful big black cat who purrs all day long, rubs himself against you and is just so loving. He is such a sweet boy, and loves nothing more than affection, attention, sitting on your lap and food!

Noir has FIV, so needs to be homed as an indoor-only cat. See our Feature Page > About FIV for more information on the condition.

Noir is your typical gorgeous shorthair black cat, with the biggest golden eyes and striking fangs! Even though this lovely boy has FIV, you can't tell in the slightest – he is a happy, cheery chappy. While he can get a little over excited every now and again, he can be calmed with a nice scratch on the head.
