Adopt a cat

Adoptions are currently being carried out on a hands-free basis only.  We are not currently offering in-person viewings or adoptions - this is up to date as of April 2022.  Our Hands-Free Homing scheme was developed early in the pandemic to allow our centres and branches to operate safely.  Due to our size it is incredibly difficult to distance in our cattery and so we will be carrying out viewings and adoptions virtually to ensure we can keep our team safe and continue to help cats in need.  Please read about our adoption process and current restrictions before enquiring about adoption.  We are unable to hold cats unless you are sure you wish to adopt them, so please ensure you have spoken to those you live with and considered whether you are ready for a cat before you enquire.  Our adoption process is fast, and once a cat is reserved the adoption call and collection must be completed within two days.

Please do not come to the centre to view the cats, we are unable to accommodate this at present and you will be turned away.

The adoption process is quick and easy, with a fee of £90 per cat which helps us to recover some of the costs of preparing them for rehoming.  All our cats are vet checked, microchipped, treated for fleas and worms, vaccinated* and neutered**.

All the cats we currently have available are listed below.  Don’t worry if you don’t find what you’re looking for right away, as new cats become available all of the time!  If you are interested in one of our cats, use the “Contact Us About This Cat” button at the bottom of their profile and enter your details to apply.  One of our friendly team will then get in contact to discuss further.

Please note that if you live in rented accommodation, we will ask for your landlord's written consent to cat ownership before we can reserve a cat for you.  If you are considering adopting, we recommend getting this ready ahead of time.  It will then be easier and quicker for you to reserve and adopt when you see a cat you like.  We will also ask you to submit proof of address as part of the adoption process.

If you anticipate any changes in your household in the next 4-6 weeks (new baby, moving house, building work, holiday) we recommend waiting until after this.
