Cat adoption in North Wirral

Could you provide a loving new home for a North Wirral cat? During the process of adopting a cat from us, we’ll consider everything from your potential pet’s personality and how this fits with your lifestyle, to your home environment – creating the perfect match for both cat and owner and the start of a wonderful feline friendship. If you're found to be a match for your chosen cat, you'll be contacted via phone or email. You may be asked for proof of your address and the consent of your landlord (if you live in a rented property). Once you have reserved your cat, you'll be sent paperwork to sign and you will then pay an adoption fee of £75 for an adult cat, or £95 for a kitten which includes the cost of post adoption neutering and a second vaccination. Payment is made by bank transfer. Once everything is finalised, we'll arrange for a driver to bring your cat safely to your home. You will also be supported post adoption and receive follow up calls to check that your new arrival has settled in.

Cats available for adoption from Cats Protection North Wirral Branch are featured below. To express your interest in a particular cat, please enquire via their listing. If you have any general enquiries about your suitability, or the adoption process, please call us on: 0345 260 1376 or email coordinator@northwirral.cats.org.uk

Direct Homing Cats

Not all the cats featured on our website are in our care. As a small branch without a shelter we can place only a limited number of cats with our fosterers. This means we always have a waiting list, but our branch actively assists anyone needing to rehome their cat through our direct homing service when we act as the go-between for people needing a new home for their cat. The cat's owner continues to look after the cat until an adoption takes place. We make no claim to first-hand knowledge of these cats including their health, vaccination status, suitability for a particular home or whether they are neutered. All rehoming arrangements are between the current and prospective owners including transporting cats to or from owners. Normal donation fees do not apply with these cats but if either the existing or new owner wish to give us a donation we would be very grateful. Cats who are part of the direct homing scheme will have this next to their name and mentioned in their bio.
