Cats of the Month for FEBRUARY 2026: NEMESIS
Ten-year-old Nemesis, or Nemmy, has had a bit of a chequered health record, but he’s a friendly, easy-going lad, content to sit and watch the world go by. He loves human company and will need a home where someone is around most of time. He likes to lie within easy reach of a human hand so that he can get lots of head rubs and fuss. Do you want a friendly companion for your calm, quiet home? Watch him making biscuits!
Do you remember a brave little kitten called Pluto that had to have his eye removed? Thankfully, the tiny warrior is now happy in his new home, but the surgery has left us with a hefty bill. If you find it in your heart to help us clear the debt, we would be very grateful, and so would Pluto and all the other cats. In January, we rehomed 7 cats and 7 kittens.
We currently have 26 cats in care, and 9 on the waiting list.
In 2025, 94 cats and 42 kittens were rehomed.
We do not have a rehoming centre - all cats in care are living in the homes of our gallant fosterers.
Run by a small team of dedicated, cat-loving volunteers, we're passionate about improving the lives of cats and kittens in Oxford & District, working to find loving new homes for local cats in our care, and lost and found cats, as well as general education and awareness within the Oxford & District area, covering postcodes: OX1, OX10, OX11, OX12, OX13, OX14, OX2, OX3, OX33, OX4, OX44, OX49.
