Welcome to Cats Protection Stafford & District

We’re here to support cats and kittens in Stafford & District covering postcodes:  ST12, ST14, ST15, ST16, ST17, ST18, ST19, ST20, ST21, WS15, WS6, WS11 and WS12.

Run by a small team of dedicated, cat-loving volunteers, we’re passionate about improving the lives of cats and kittens in Stafford, working to find loving new homes for local cats in our care, offering support with neutering, and lost and found cats, as well as general education and awareness within the [Location] area. Adopt a cat in Stafford

Could you provide a loving new home for a cat in Stafford? During the process of adopting a cat from us, we’ll consider everything from your potential pet’s personality and how this fits with your lifestyle, to your home environment – creating the perfect match for both cat and owner and the start of a wonderful feline friendship.

Our adoption fees are £105 for a kitten (under 6 months old) and £85 for a cat (6 months old and over). We also gratefully appreciate any additional donations you may wish to make.

All our cats are cared for by dedicated volunteer fosterers in purpose built cat units. These units have heated living quarters with a weatherproof run. Please note we don't have a designated cattery.

Volunteer at Cats Protection Stafford & District

Without volunteers, Cats Protection Stafford & District simply wouldn't exist. Our amazing, friendly volunteers are a diverse group with a shared love of cats who fit volunteering around their home lives and personal commitments.

Volunteering with us is very rewarding, worthwhile and doesn't have to take up a lot of your time.  You can give as much or as little time as you can and we know that that may change from day to day.  Whatever time you can give is a brilliant boost for our team and gives you something back in return, friendships, experience and the 'feel good' factor that helping cats gives.  We provide training, where necessary, for volunteer roles such as home visitors, fosterers and fundraisers.
