Welcome to the website for the St Neots, Huntingdon & St Ives Branch of Cats Protection.

Coronavirus Update

Following on from advice from Cats Protection Head Office we have made the difficult decision to temporarily close the branch, this means that with immediate effect we cannot conduct any home visits or home any cats and we cannot take any new cats in. Our helpline 01480 476696 is still open as usual to call for advice and we are still issuing neutering vouchers.

We hope that this is a temporary measure and will update you if anything changes. Thank you to all of our supporters for their understanding during this time.

If you are looking to home a cat please take a look at our Adopt a Cat page which can be found here. It gives the details of the homing process as well as information and pictures of most of the cats we have looking for a new home. If you would be interested in homing a cat please call us on
01480 476696 (9am - 6pm, Monday to Friday).
For details of our free and low cost neutering scheme please take a look at our Neutering page here. Alternatively please call us on 01480 476696 (9am - 6pm Monday to Friday)
We have a charity shop in St Neots where we raise most of the funds for the work we do. We are always looking for good quality bric-a-brac to sell. Opening times and more details of the shop can be found here.
We also run a local Lost & Found register and can help offer advice if you have lost your cat or found a possible stray. Please take a look at our Lost & Found pages here or call 01480 476696 (9am - 6pm, Monday to Friday).
We also have a Facebook page where you can keep up to date with more of the day to day happenings in the branch, and also your chance to chat with like minded cat lovers in the area. Details of how to find our Facebook page can be found here.
If you would be interested in volunteering for the branch please take at look at positions we have vacant here, email us at stneotscats@hotmail.com or call 01480 476696 (9am - 6pm, Monday to Friday).
This branch is run entirely by volunteers, many of whom have full or part time jobs, therefore if you can't get through straight away please be patient as we will get back to you as soon as we can.

We do not offer an emergency service but will help where we can.
