Our branch was formed in 1982 and since then we have rescued numerous stray, unwanted and injured cats and homed and neutered thousands of them in the local area. We are all volunteers giving up our spare time to cope with the numerous cat problems.
Our vision is to ensure that every cat is given the chance of a life where it will be treated with kindness and an understanding of its needs. We also seek to alleviate the problems of unwanted cats, by offering information and advice about responsible cat ownership and promoting the benefits of neutering.
In Autumn 2015, the branch expanded and our new name
Sutton, Kingston & District Cats Protection reflects this change. The postcodes that we cover are KT1, KT2, KT3, KT4, SM1, SM2, SM3, SM4, SM5, SM6 and parts of SW19 and SW20. These cover the following areas:
- Sutton
- Cheam
- Wallington
- Carshalton
- New Malden
- Raynes Park
- Worcester Park
- Parts of Kingston and Wimbledon
We are currently recruiting new volunteers to help with all aspects of our branch, including:
- Homing
- Cat Welfare
- Publicity
- Administration

If you have a few hours a week you can spare to help a small, friendly team, we would love to hear from you!
