Support us

If You love cats and would like to support the Abertawe & District Cats protection then we would love to hear from you, so please contact us for more details.  You can help by: -

BECOMING A VOLUNTEER
- we are always in desperate need of more like minded volunteers.  We are always looking for Home Visitors, people to organise  fundraising events - come and join us at one of our events; or perhaps you’re a bit of a wall-flower and just want to remain in the back ground, we have lots of administrative jobs that will need your help.

ADOPTING A CAT OR KITTEN – we have so many cats of all ages and personalities temporarily homed with our fosterers, all looking for a loving and permanent home.  We are bound to have the perfect one for you.  By offering a Cats Protection cat a good home, you are directly helping our branch and also giving another cat or kitten, who is patiently waiting to come into our care, a second chance of happiness.

FOSTERING A CAT OR KITTEN - we have many cats and kittens that are looking for a foster home while they are waiting for their forever home.  All you need is a spare room that you can keep the Cat/Kitten in and provide lots of TLC.  We will pay for all vet bills, food, litter, injections, flea and worming treatment.  You will also need transport to take the critters to the vet or to pick up or drop them off when required

TRAP/NEUTER/RETURN (TNR) - We are looking for volunteers to help with TNR of Ferals around the Swansea area.  You will be given full training and shown how to safely trap outdoor cats before taking them to the vet to be neutered and then returning them to the area that they were found.  You will need transport and a lot of patience !!  This is a very rewarding role helping the little outdoor cats remain in a healthy colony.

MAKING A DONATION – we are all unpaid volunteers who give up our free-time in order to help the cats in our local area.  Our branch is only able to care, feed, and pay for the veterinary treatments for our cats because of the kind generosity of people like you who either attend our fundraising events or by donations. Our cats are also extremely grateful for any food or toy donations which can be dropped off at our charity Shop in the Mumbles Road.
