Adopt a cat
You can view all our available cats using the menu on the left hand side of the page.
Here you'll find all the information you need ahead of giving one of our beautiful cats a forever home. Our cats are always neutered, microchipped and vaccinated prior to rehoming, and come with four weeks free insurance.
A HANDS-FREE HOMING GUIDE
Due to the current crisis, we have put in extensive procedures to make sure that our homing process is in line with current government guidance, without putting adoptees or our volunteers at risk.
Once you’ve found the cat you’d love to give a home to, contact us via the enquiry form below the cat, or email firstname.lastname@example.org. If you’re a purrfect match, we will contact you and you may be asked for proof of your address and the consent of your landlord (if you live in a rented property).
All of our cats are looked after in our foster carers homes. Due to current circumstances, our homing team members will carry out an informal virtual assessment via video call to ensure that the cat you have chosen would be a good match for your family.
Once all the paperwork has been sent and signed, and you have paid the adoption fee of £65 (usually by bank transfer) and a telephone appointment with our team will be arranged. You’ll have the chance to discuss everything you need to know about your cat. We’ll then arrange for a driver to bring your cat safely to your home. Please note, if you are adopting a kitten from us an additional £20 kitten supplement will apply (a total adoption fee of £85).
You’ll receive a follow-up call or email around three, seven and 21 days after the adoption to check that your new arrival is settled in. You can also find help and advice on the Cats Protection website at www.cats.org.uk/advice.
We are committed to ensuring we match our cats with the best possible new families and arrive at their furrever homes happy and healthy.
