As cats are solitary animals, it’s no surprise that our tenants at Warrington Adoption Centre thrived during the peace and quiet of lockdown, both settling in faster and becoming less anxious as they wait for their furever home.

To keep our cats safe and happy, we’ve been inspired to carry on our popular cat-matching online. You’ll need to visit our website to see all of the cats we have available, but you’re welcome to drop into the centre any time between 11am-3pm to buy retail goodies, ask for advice or make a donation.

The Cattery is not currently open for visitors and we are homing cats through our hands free homing scheme. Our shop opening hours to browse for retail goodies, ask advice or make a donation are:

 Monday 11am - 3pm.
 Tuesday Closed
 Wednesday 11am - 3pm

We are part of Cats Protection, the UK's leading feline welfare charity.  We are one of a network of adoption centres and over volunteer run branches covering the UK.

Our key objectives to help cats are:
  • to find good homes for cats in need
  • to support and encourage the neutering of cats
  • to improve people’s understanding of cats and their care

CATS PROTECTION MAINTAIN A STRICT NON-EUTHANASIA POLICY - CATS ARE NEVER PUT TO SLEEP EXCEPT ON VETERINARY ADVICE.

Due to this policy, we always have a waiting list for cats to come into the centre and we have to wait for a cat to be rehomed before admitting another cat. If you need your cat to be rehomed, call the centre on 03000 12 06 12 during our opening ours and you will be placed on the waiting list until a space becomes available.

If you have a veterinary emergency please contact the RSPCA on 0300 1234 999 or your local Veterinary Practice. If you would like any advice relating to Cats Protection and our services please contact our National Information Line on 03000 12 12 12.

Thank you for your support
