Adopt a cat

To keep everyone safe, we provide a hands-free homing approach. We have in place procedures to enable carefully controlled rehoming without putting people at undue risk of infection, and without a negative effect on cat welfare. We can't guarantee that you'll be able to adopt a cat at this time but we'll be ensuring that all our cats are matched with potential owners who can provide the environment and lifestyle required by each individual cat. You'll find descriptions, photos and video clips of the cats in their profiles to help you decide which one might be for you.
Please note that our branch adoptions can only take place within a 10 mile radius of Woking.

If you are interested in one of our cats, send us an enquiry via the contact form on the cat's profile page or give us a call on 01483 721700, mailbox option 1. We will give you a call to take a few more details and discuss the cat. At this stage we will ask for proof of your address and (if applicable) landlord permission for a cat. Once these have been received, we will arrange a FaceTime, WhatsApp or phone call to carry out a 'virtual' home visit, where we will go through important information about settling a cat in and cat care, and you will be able to show us around your home and garden. If all is well, we'll reserve the cat for you and proceed to the adoption.

Once your cat has been reserved, we will send the adoption paperwork via email for you to review and sign. We will be able to finalise the adoption once this paperwork has been returned and when the adoption fee has been paid. A brand new, good quality cat carrier is included as part of the adoption, it is an essential part of the hands-free homing approach to minimise infection risk. The paperwork consists of an adoption form and PetPlan Terms for your cat's 4 weeks free insurance cover.

Arrangements will be made for you to pay the adoption fee online. Once this has been done one of our drivers will bring your new cat to your home, following the hands-free procedure. The driver will explain how it works when they call to arrange a time for delivering your cat.

After the adoption we will follow up with you to see how your cat is settling in. This starts from the day the cat is delivered – we will check in with you at 5 and 21 days from arrival. However, we're only a phone call or email away, so please don't hesitate to get in touch for any advice or help you might need.

Please scroll down to see the cats that we have in care - there are always more cats behind the scenes who haven't made it to the website yet. If you don't see the cat for you, do ask as we may have a new arrival who fits the bill perfectly! If you spot a cat you're interested in please mention their name when giving us a call on 01483 721700 option 1, or by emailing us at
